![]() ![]() Æon leaves, assured by her actions that she has no conscience. It is the audience that pulls a lever and opens a trapdoor beneath Bambara, sending him to his death. Æon pulls a lever that should instigate Bambara’s death, but it only shows ‘Game Host Trevor’ as a complex robot. It is then that Bambara bursts in, preparing to kill Trevor. The object of the show seems to be to prove to Æon that she has a natural conscience. Æon then wakes in the middle of a game show, with many of the resistance members implanted with Custodians acting as ‘Hostesses’ and Trevor being the presenter with two small twin girls. Trevor meanwhile takes down the resistance movement, while a bomb planted on the train Æon was on explodes, killing the group’s leader. Æon goes after Bambara’s Custodian, successfully removing it although she is drugged and captured by Breen forces. Æon then meets up with an organization of women who are opposed to Trevor’s project, planning to remove the implanted Custodians and bring the operation to an end. Trevor says the robot is a ‘Custodian’, an artificial conscience of his creation which he hopes to implant in all citizens. ![]() He inserts a strange robot into Bambara through the man’s navel and he suddenly loses his darker side, becoming friendly to those around him and quickly befriending an orphan. Bambara escapes Æon, killing a construction worker in the process, but is captured for Trevor Goodchild. Æon, ignoring his victims, pursues him through a train and onto a building site. Outside she encounters a custodian going through the same lever throwing motion that she used moments earlier.The episode opens with Æon chasing Bambara, a vicious man who frequently causes injury or death to those he encounters. The audience boos and throws levers that open a trap door under Bambara.Īeon shrugs at this turn of events and walks through the exit. Trevor is revealed to be a shell for a custodian that begins malfunctioning, much to Bambara's astonishment. ![]() As he prepares to shoot Trevor, Aeon throws a lever that she believes will drop a weight on him, but the weight remains in place. Just as he offers her the choice to leave, Bambara crashes into the theater bent on revenge for the loss of his arm. In front of a theater audience, with two young "hostesses" using levers to move props around, Trevor challenges her to determine whether she acts with her own will. There is a custodian implantation mark on her navel but she does not feel different. A bomb that Bambara placed earlier on the train explodes, killing the counter-insurgent leader.Īeon awakens in Trevor's presence. The struggle catches the attention of a Breen agent who takes down Aeon with a tranquilizer gun. She struggles with custodian as it tries to reimplant itself in her, while Bambara resumes his rampage. She takes the booth next to Bambara, tranquilizes him, and removes the custodian. The group's leader tells Aeon that she can have Bambara, but asks her to bring the custodian to them by implanting it in herself.Īeon goes undercover at the Breen food distribution center where Bambara eats. The agent, Judy, works for a group of "counter-insurgents" opposed to Trevor's custodian program. When he awakens Bambara befriends a one-armed boy, to whom he donates one of his arms.Īeon notices another secret agent tracking Bambara. Trevor Goodchild finally takes Bambara down with tranquilizers and implants him with a robotic conscience called a custodian. Aeon is on the trail of the ill-mannered criminal brute, Bambara.Īeon Flux chases the criminal Bambara through a train and an industrial site while making a series of moral choices. ![]()
